15 Facts About A Virgin


I started this blog to connect and get to know other bloggers, mamas, and just great people in general, so I thought why not share some facts about myself to my readers! My ultimate goal is to connect with my readers on a personal level, outside of my blog posts and social media accounts. I don't want to be known as the girl with endometriosis, I want you to know who ME {A}keyla Virgin}.

1. I have a beautiful daughter named A'miya
2. I am an online college student majoring in Psychology/Sociology
3. I am obsessed with ASL {I'm amazed by the community and the language}
4. I plan to donate to and volunteer with an ASL organization in the near future
5. I LOVE FOOD! My favorite food {currently} is honey garlic salmon and mashed potatoes
6. I've been with my boyfriend {& father of my child} for 3 and a half years
7. My mom is my one of best friends {along with my sister and my boyfriend}

8. I have my own business named after my daughter
{A'miya Baby Couture}
9. In reality, I'm a pretty shy person {but once you get to know me, I'm super cool}
10. Even though there's a huge stigma about tattoos and piercings, I love them both. I don't think they define you as a person, I see it as art and a sense of individuality. {With that being said, I have 10 tattoos and 8 piercings}
11. I am an endometriosis warrior! I was diagnosed January 2015 {Read my story. . .}
12. I write all my blog post on late nights when I can't sleep and my mind just wanders
13. I LOVE fashion, I'm a total fashionista at heart!
14. I exclusively pumped {breastfed} for 8 months with my daughter, it was super exhausting but also an amazing experience.
15. I'm definitely enjoying my blogging journey so far and can't wait to see where this journey takes me.

  1. I love to read the fact about you, really interesting. Btw do u mean ASL is American Sign language? If yes, i'm interesting at that also, as i learn a little bit to communicate w. My baby (baby sign language) :D

    1. Thank you! Yes I do. That is awesome! That's a great way to communicate with your baby. I am currently teaching my baby girl sign language as well as, along with expanding my sign language vocabulary. I know quite a few signs and can hold a short convo.

  2. So great to learn about you! I wish I would've took the time to teach my baby sign language. I'm currently pregnant with #2, so perhaps I will with this one. Any tips on how to do it?
